Prior to becoming a client of CCFC, Tom Klemenhagen, president of LANDTEAM INC, and I had several conversations about how a chaplain could benefit his company. Tom saw the need and benefits of having a chaplain, but he had some doubts about how a chaplain would work in his company. He wondered how the employees would react to having a chaplain. He was concerned whether or not he could justify the added expense at a time when finances were very tight.

After serving LANDTEAM for a year, I wanted to hear how Tom felt about his initial concerns. We agreed that the employees had responded well to the chaplain’s weekly visits. Several employees had been helped due to the sound practical counsel of the chaplain. Tom said that their chaplain had provided insight to him in several situations which benefited him and the company. Several very specific prayers had been answered in dramatic ways. I asked Tom if he believed investing in chaplain had brought a good return on his investment.
